Minetti offered him the opportunity to work on a one-floor building housing offices for engineers, which was about to be demolished. Known to interfere on buildings by "cutting" them in order to create a conversation between art and architecture, Matta-Clark removed - using a crane - a square in the center of the pyramidal roof. Angular light rays that entered the house were then used as indicatos for cutting the interior walls (Datum Cuts).
This projetc - titled A W-Hole House - was then presented at the Galleriaforma showing cuts sections of walls and in situ photographs taken by the artist together.
