A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE MODEL OF A MYTHICAL BEAST

The recumbent beast is carved with the head turned to one side and its paws tucked under its body. The bushy tail is swept over the back beside the pronounced spine. The stone is of a creamy celadon tone with light russet areas.
