Sandstone concretions formed in mineral rich waters 30 million years ago, gogottes are much prized for their sculptural-like appearance. The rounded layers of concretions of the current example have created a particularly prized specimen with a feature rarely seen in gogottes that it has an aesthetic appearance from all sides.
