A LONGQUAN CELADON RETICULATED STAND
MING DYNASTY, 15TH CENTURY
The rounded sides are raised on a circular foot and cut-out in the form of four shaped 'legs' separated by openings of conforming outline. There are four apertures above the 'legs' and below the foliate, everted rim. The stand is covered overall in a glaze of olive colour that pools to a darker tone in the crevices.
