[With:] Xeroxed typescript of the same texts, lightly corrected and amended in Levi’s hand, 45 pages, f’cap; printed copy (Bellew Publishing, 1990), inscribed by Levi to Anthony Hobson, who has corrected misprints and supplied a page of notes in the rear endpaper. Connolly’s unfinished novel was published as a work in progress in 1956, and he tinkered with it occasionally until his death in 1974. His widow married Peter Levi, to whom the baton eventually passed.
