Pear-shaped, on spreading foot, with ebonised wood handle, the hinged cover with a pineapple finial; together with a French silver hot milk-jug, maker's mark JLG only, struck three times, possibly that of Joseph-Louis Gautier, Paris, early 19th century, pear-shape and on three pad feet, with turned wood side handle, coffee-pot marked below rim, hot milk-jug marked underneath
