Gilt three train going movement, verge escapement, striking on a bell, all housed in the base, crucifix with the body of Christ, the ends each with rotating white enamel discs for time, day and date, with Arabic numerals, days in Latin, the center with plaque reading INRI all sitting on ebonized wood base, gilt border, supported by four feet, case signed by maker
