A comparable fireback with the Cavendish arms and an earlier date of 1657 was sold at the Chatsworth Attic Sale, Sotheby's, 5-7 October, 2010, lot 3. A similar fireback is still in place in the Great Chamber, Chatsworth, Derbyshire.
