The present miniature compares with a portrait of Lucy Russell, Countess of Bedford, née Harington (1850-1627) in the Cleveland Museum of Art, Ohio, inv. No. 1949.547. it is listed in C. Korkov, British Portrait Miniatures in the Cleveland Museum of Art, London, 2013, p. 66, no. 9, described as ‘Studio of Isaac Oliver’.
