FOUR JADE CARVINGS
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The first is a white jade pendant carved as a bat. The second is a white and yellow jade plaque carved with a pair of chilong. The third is a white jade tally section carved with a toatie mask, the reverse inscribed with the characters hu fu ('tiger tally'). The fourth is a white and black jade carving of a basket overflowing with finger citrus and pomegranate.
