A WHITE JADE PLAQUE
The circular plaque is carved in low relief with a rabbit below a tree, and to the reverse with a calligraphic inscription reading Dao yao chang sheng zhong ri chou, guang han ji mo ban qiong lou that refers to Chang'e who though immortal still feels lonely. It is surmounted by a carved and pierced prunus branch.
