Recent capsule, cork and label. Fully branded cork. Cut capsule. Bin-soiled and slightly torn label. Level upper-shoulder. Ex lot 225 or 226, Christie's sale September 27th 1979. Part of a larger collection of Lafite-Rothschild with vintages ranging from 1822 to 1962. The wines were stored in the private reserve cellars at Lafite until they were offered for sale in 1979 and were subject to re-corking as well as being given new capsules and labels.
