Oviform, flanked by upright scrolling lotus handles, above a band of faux oval cabochon rubies set into gilt bezels alternating with clusters of faux pearls, above tight bouquet medallions reserved within platinum beads and gilt scroll cartouches supported by foliate scroll stems, each stem linked by a 'jeweled' pendant chain, the lower portion with faux gems set on stiff-leaf tips, on a gilt metal base

The present vases, described as "fond vert six cartels de fleurs dans un fond brun décor or et platine" (green ground, with six cartouches of flowers on a brown ground and with gilt and platinum decoration), are noted as entering the factory's saleroom on 19 November 1844 (Registre Vv 4, folio 32, no 3) and as selling to a Mr. Lenox in January 1851 (Registre Vz7, folio 149 verso).
