A pierced ornate gilt-metal frame containing five miniatures of children of the Londonderry family, probably Frederick, Viscount Castlereagh, later 4th Marquess of Londonderry (1805-1872) and his siblings, together with a lady, probably Harriet Elizabeth, Duchess of Sutherland, when Countess Gower (1806-1868), her brown hair parted in the centre and falling in ringlets, in a gilt metal frame, and a pierced gilt metal easel-stand for a portrait miniature, formed of foliate scrolls, surmounted by a cypher and the Londonderry family crest

Harriet Elizabeth, Duchess of Sutherland, was the third daughter of George, 6th Earl of Carlisle. In 1823, she married George Granville, Earl Gower, who became 2nd Duke of Sutherland. She was Mistress of the Robes to Queen Victoria.
