It is decorated to the interior with a central roundel depicting a pair of mandarin ducks on a lotus pond, with similar continuous scenes to the exterior. The base is with a four-character mark reading ai lian zhen shang, that may be translated as 'admiring lotus, to be treasured and appreciated.'
