Of askos form, on oval foot, the matted body applied with vines, the rim with two Bacchic goats, the fluted handle with foliate and scroll joins centering a winged putto, the handle engraved with a crest and a monogram, engraved under base with the date JANY 1ST 1871, marked under spout, also stamped 5648 HUNT & ROSKELL LATE STORR & MORTIMER on foot
