Gouache heightened with gold on paper, a solitary young lady in flowing blue robes and with long dark hair stands holding a green pear in her outstretched hand, around her later added gold floral sprays and clouds, laid down between minor pink borders with calligraphic cartouches on wide buff borders with gold floral and animal illumination, the verso with an elegant nasta'liq quatrain comprised of parts of a ghazal by Amir Khusraw Dehlavi on blue ground, small panels of smaller calligraphy in the corners, the lower one signed Sultan Muhammad Nur, laid down between minor pink borders and a border formed of calligraphic cartouches on similar wide gold illuminated margins, minor creasing and staining, mounted
