A copy of Liotard's famous Self Portrait (circa 1749) in the Musée d'Art et Histoire, Geneva. The artist, Madame Vignier, was Liotard's granddaughter, the daughter of Marie-Jeanne Liotard who married Jean-François Bassompierre in 1782. An attribution to Madame Vignier was suggested by Marcel Roethlisberger in a letter to the present owners dated 8 December 2001.
