FROM A PRIVATE CANADIAN COLLECTION
The current owner's family organized an exhibition of Modern Chinese Paintings in Canada with the help of the Chinese government in 1982, in an effort to promote Chinese arts and culture. With the participation of over 50 Chinese painters, the exhibition was held across Canada (Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto and Ottawa) including these paintings, which have been with the family since then.
