The rectangular plate divided by slender pilasters and centred by a sunflower patera, addorsed sphinxes and urns and anthennienes, the husk-swagged cresting depicting a seated classical figure and surmounted by an urn, the lower frieze supporting atheniennes and with urn-filled mirror recesses, the companion semi-elliptical pier table similarly decorated with a white marble top on stiff-leaf headed square legs and turned feet regilt
The mirror: 109 x 50 in. (227 x 127 cm.); the pier table 37 in. (94 cm.) high; 60 in. (153 cm.) wide; 16½ in. (42 cm.) deep
