This tapestry belongs to a series that is attributed to Hieronymous de Potter (d. before 1665), a little know tapestry designer who is mentioned in connection to the Months tapestries in a transaction letter to the Count of Salasar. De Potter designed the series for Everaert III Leyniers, who belonged to one of the most important tapestry manufacturer's dynasties.
