Including an Omani silver and horn-hilted khanjar, possibly from Nizwa, the rich decoration with silver repoussé foliated scrolls and stems and silver thread geometric patterns, with embroidered belt; two Maria Theresa Thaler necklaces; a Qur'an box (hirz); five large silver bangles, including two possibly from Nizwa with geometric and scrolling decoration and each closing with a large silver pin; twenty-one bracelets, including two with a band of spike-like protruding patterns between two bands of geometric designs; a Kashmiri rosewater sprinkler, with bulbous body rising to a tapering neck and flaring mouth, the engraved decoration with dense floral sprays and foliate scrolls

The foliate decoration of our horn hilted khanjar relates to examples from the city of Nizwa. A comparable dagger illustrated on the cover of Ruth Hawley (Omani Silver, Longman, London 1978) is attributed to this important city of the Dakhiliyah region.

Ruth Hawlay (op cit.) attributes the silver bracelets decrated with bosses to the central region of Oman.
