A RED-OVERLAY GLASS 'BAJIXIANG' SNUFF BOTTLE

The bottle, of flattened circular shape, is carved through the strawberry-red overlay to the bubble-suffused, clear ground with the Eight Buddhist Emblems (bajixiang), four on each side, separated by dragon-like scrolls on the narrow sides, and above a red oval foot ring.
