The rectangular panel is carved in high relief on one side depicting pairs of cranes and bats in flight above elaborate pavilions nestled amongst cliffs and trees on an outcrop jutting into the turbulent sea. The panel is enclosed within a carved and pierced hardwood frame, and supported on a trestle stand.
