LATE SHANG DYNASTY, 12TH-11TH CENTURY BC
The deep vessel is raised on three blade-form supports and is cast on the sides with two taotie masks, one centered on a narrow flange, the other on the loop handle, all below a pair of posts with conical caps that rise from the rim. There is mottled milky green patina and areas of encrustation.
