Each teapot has a pewter exterior and an Yixing interior. One, of rectangular, ancient coin form, is incised on one main side with prunus, and on the reverse with two archaistic characters, the mark of the maker, Fan Luzeng, is on the interior. One is of ruyi form, the main body incised with orchids on one side and calligraphy signed by Shimei on the reverse, with the maker's mark, Shi Baofeng, on the interior. The third, of rectangular form, is carved with calligraphy on both main sides, and the mark of the maker, Fan Luzeng, is on the interior. On all three teapots the angular loop handle, short tapering spout, and finial on the cover, are faceted and made of jade.
