CASE: with bird finial, the dials flanked by fruiting vines, cornucopia and a classical figure to each side, the enamel decoration depicting country scenes and temples, rectangular white marble base with beaded border and ormolu plaque with putti, on turned feet DIAL: enamel moonphase dial with age indications, the central skeletonised dial with white enamel chapter ring, Arabic hours, day and date, pierced gilt-brass hands, signs of the zodiac, months and season to bottom enamel chapter ring, all with beaded bezels MOVEMENT: the twin barrel movement with pin wheel escapement, knife edge suspension and count wheel strike to bell, with sunburst pendulum; later winding key
