The domed cover with knop finial and double-scroll thumbpiece, the handle terminating in scrolls on either side, engraved with a crest of an eagle displayed to the cover and a contemporary baroque coat-of-arms to the front, the base later engraved with a different crest and a scratch-weight of 46o.11
