Of rectangular form, on four feet in the form of lion's paws, the lid carved in deep relief with the Coronation of Rama, the borders with Hindu deities within cusped arches interspersed with palmettes, each corner with a double-headed hamsa, the sides carved with Hindu mythological scenes, the lower register depicting zoomorphic beings and animals amidst dense scrolling flowers and vegetation, the hinged lid opening to reveal a compartmented interior, with a flat drawer, one foot with break, the lid repaired
