CIRCA 1740, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS AND GILDER'S CRESCENT MARKS
Each piece painted with European figures in landscapes and harbor scenes, reserved within gilt ombrierte scalloped lozenge-shape cartouches headed with a loose bouquet, the rim with a Gitterwerk, comprising:
A coffee-pot and cover
A teapot and cover
A hot-milk jug and cover
A sugar-bowl and cover
A tea caddy (cover lacking)
A quatrefoil spoon tray
A waste-bowl
Four coffee-cups and six saucers
Seven teacups and six saucers
Together with:
A Meissen scroll-footed hot water cistern and cover with gilt-metal spigot of similar date and decoration
14¾ in. (37.8 cm.) high, the hot water cistern (36)
