With satinwood and ebony banding overall, the shaped rectangular top above a three graduated drawers with ivory escutcheons flanked by doors, one side enclosing a single shelf, two shelves to the other, on square tapering legs with spade feet

A closely related cabinet executed in satinwood and painted with summer flowers is in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, illustrated in Ralph Edwards, Georgian Furniture, 1951, pl. 157. Another was sold Christie's, Godmersham Park house sale, 8 - June 1983, lot 57 (£18,360 including premium).
