Many examples exist of panels with cypress growing on a ground decorated with vine. Similar tiles are found in a panel with twin cypresses in the section of the Heir's Apartment in the Topkapi Saray (T. Oz, Turkish Ceramics, Ankara, 1954, pl. lviii).
