The shape of this unusually decorated vase is very similar to that of an underglaze-blue, copper-red and celadon-decorated vase bearing an inscription with a Yongzheng date (1731), illustrated in The Museum of East Asian Art Inaugural Exhibition, vol. I, Chinese Ceramics, 1993, no. 211.
