The vase is decorated to the bulbous mid-section with two butterflies in flight amongst leafy branches of blossoming prunus and lily, the upper section painted with continuous scenes depicting two ladies and gentleman at leisure on a terrace, the lower section painted with boys at play in a fenced garden. The base with a leaf mark.
