A PALE CELADON JADE 'CHILONG' CUP
17TH CENTURY
The cup is carved in high relief to the exterior with three chilong with their jaws and front paws on the rim of the vessel, forming the cup's handles. The attractively polished stone is of an even pale celadon tone with minor russet and cloudy inclusions.
