Jean-François Scipion du Faget, Les Vans, (Ardèche) (1776 - 1841). Faget is recorded as a painter on porcelain and glass, watercolorist and lithographer at rue du Faub. Poissonnière 74, Paris. A plaque of the Holy Family (9x12) was exhibited by him at the Paris Exposition of 1817. Also shown was a view of St. Michel striking down a demon after Le Guide. In addition he is recorded as a painter at Sèvres in 1806.

His daughter, Athalie Josèphine Mélanie du Faget (b. Les Vans 1811) is recorded entering the Paris salons in 1833 and 1844 and also at rue du Faub. Poissonnière 74, Paris.
