Lescure was a cabinet-maker working in Paris around 1910 who specialized in the 'aux chevaux'-type clocks.
A related model by Lescure is illustrated in Tardy, French Clocks, Volume I, Paris, 1981, p. 157. A related clock was sold at Christie's Amsterdam, 3 April 2007, lot 454.
