Although no signature has been found on this table, it is a recorded model by Henry Dasson. An example by Dasson, further embellished with Jasperware roundels and a chess-board, is illustrated from the Archive Lécoules in C. Mestdagh, L'Ameublement Français: 1850-1900, Paris, 2010, p. 281, fig. 332. The model is also recorded by Maison Krieger who possibly bought the rights to it from Dasson's sale of remaining stock in 1894.
