Thin green glazes of this tone are sometimes referred to as 'melon' or 'apple green.' A pair of similar dishes of comparable size with Yongzheng marks in the T.Y. Chao Collection were included in the exhibition, Ch'ing Porcelain from the Wah Kwong Collection, Chinese University of Hong Kong, 1973, no. 36; and in the exhibition, Ming and Ch'ing Porcelain from the Collection of the T.Y. Chao Family Foundation, Hong Kong Museum of Art, 1978, no. 51.
