Ma Xinle, who specializes in paintings of animals, graduated from the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and Ohio State University. In the United States, he taught at the University of Missouri and was the senior art advisor for an exhibition in New York at the Bank of China headquarters in 2010. Ma Xinle now works in Beijing and Shanghai.
