Of flattened pear shape, delicately carved through the pale lavender overlay with a continuous scene of two squirrels scampering amidst leafy grape vines, below three butterflies in flight above, one side with a small oval seal reading jixiang (auspicious) above a pierced rock formation, glass stopper
2 3/16 in. (5.5 cm.) high

The seal jixiang was commonly used by Li Junting on his wares when he was not signing with one of his several assumed names. It is among his better-known seals, appearing on many examples.
