Of characteristic S-form, the upper surface of the handle carved in high relief to depict four Daoist immortals, each standing on wispy cloud clusters, the terminal carved in shallow relief with a scholar holding a ruyi standing beside a phoenix and a young attendant, the edges flanked by three bats, combining with a further two bats on the handle to form the wufu, 'The Five Blessings', the stone of gradating yellow to celadon tinged tone, the reverse side and tip of handle with areas of russet skin
