DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
With a slightly flared mouth rim rising from rounded sides and a short straight foot, the exterior finely decorated with four medallions enclosing figures in landscapes, one en grisaille, two with sepia and pale enamels, and one with rose-verte enamels, all surrounded by floral sprays reserved on a ruby sgraffiato ground, the interior with a stylised flower head emanating eight ruyi heads interspersed by blue leaves
6 7/8 in.(15 cm.) diam.
