SIGNED ZANGI GHURI, AFGHANISTAN, 12TH CENTURY
Rising from short, slightly spreading foot to rounded body with slightly everted rim, the body finely moulded with a knotted kufic inscription inhabited with birds, with four vertical manganese splashes, the rim with a series of small manganese splashes, repaired breaks
