Portrayed in a recumbent position with its left front leg slightly raised, the others tucked under its body, grasping a leafy branch in its mouth, the branch sprouting sprigs of lingzhi and peony blossoms that trail along the sides of the stag's body and across its back, the even-toned stone with soft polish, opaque inclusions and added russet coloring
