The columnar seal of square section, surmounted by a recumbent Buddhist lion, the features finely detailed with its mouth slightly agape to reveal fangs, the beast with a muscular body standing with its head turned to a bushy tail, the seal chop carved in relief with lines from the 'Book of Odes', the stone of a translucent golden honey-orange tone
