Tasting note: Apricot, peach, and lemon in the nose of the Carillon 2007 Puligny-Montrachet Les Perrières from the southern fringe of that site, up against Boillot's monopole, Clos de la Mouchère lead to a palate of sappy fruit generosity and sassy acidity, with saline, chalky, and subtly bitter peach kernel undertones. The combination of relative fullness and silken texture with sheer exuberance of fruit and strong mineral cast recommend this for immediate enjoyment, but I suspect it should keep well for at least a half-dozen more years. 90 points.
