Oval, with reeded bifurcated handles with acanthus scroll joins, on four scroll and shell feet, the border gadrooned with acanthus at intervals, the stepped domed cover with gadrooned rim, the finial modeled as a Duke's coronet, the tureen engraved with a coat-of-arms, liner and cover engraved with a crest and a coronet, marked under base, on liner, and on finial
