Solange Brault-Lerch records, among other hollow and flatware, three coffee-pots by Jean-Guillaume Boichard, (S. Brault-Lerch, Les Orfèvres de Franche-Compté, Geneva, 1976, p. 551). Among them is one of very similar form, though chased with foliage and rocaille (op. cit, pl. LXXXV, no. 1) and two others, each also marked twice with the town mark of Lons-Le-Saunier.
