From the Haft Paykar of Nizami, gouache heightened with gold on paper, Bahram Gur and the Slavic princess sit in the red pavilion, watching a group of musicians and dancers and attended by maidservents, further figures standing just outside the pavilion to the right of the composition, with 5ll. of black nasta'liq above and below arranged in 4 columns with gold and polychrome illuminated intercolumnar rules, heading in white nasta'liq on gold panel with gold and polychrome floral illumination above, the composition within gold and polychrome rules on wide cream margins, minor areas of staining, mounted and glazed
